There are many local walks and attractions including Minterne Gardens and Sherborne Castle built by Sir Walter Raleigh in 1594 and home to the Digby family since 1617. Beaminster Forde Abbey and Abbotsbury Swannery and gardens are all just a short drive. Village shop and pub ¾ mile.
