  • "Thank you for a lovely stay."

We had a great time. The views are stunning, the accommodation spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. The location is just further up the hill from the main town past the supermarkets. It makes for a lovely early morning/late evening stroll around the block to take in Broad Street, the promenade, Cobb and up through the gardens. The only drawback for us was being an apartment in a converted block the car space was a little cosy for an SUV. We managed fine but it's worth considering if you have smaller children with car seats or mobility issues. The listing was as described, plus the addition of a hair dryer, which was very welcome.

  • "Great place with wonderful views of the coast."

The apartment was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a good holiday, and is in easy reach of the town. We will definitely return.

  • "Lovely spacious property with amazing views."

We found it very difficult to find! It mentions directions only if you approach from a certain direction and mentions your office which didn’t help as we booked through Sykes and the company office is Lyme Bay holidays!!

  • "Seascapes is a nice apartment."

.thing we loved most were the amazing sea views, one of the best I've had in the centre of town and how big it is. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable with parking and in a great location I would recommend! Be aware that it is in a converted old house so there are many stairs and different levels, only suitable for older children definitely and the shower room was a little small and tired with steps up to it that were a little awkward. Overall we had a lovely week!

  • "We couldn't have been happier with the flat in Lyme Regis."

It was at least as good as advertised, and just the perfect distance from the sea front i.e. not too close, not too far. Everything worked perfectly and was very comfortable e.g. the shower was great, and you don't often get mattresses in hire places that gave such a good night's sleep! And little things like an OS map to borrow all made our stay easier and more pleasant. Happy days - many thanks!!

We are so pleased you had such a good stay in the flat! As we visit ourselves regularly we try to make it welcoming and comfortable for guests too. We hope you might return sometime! Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable homely apartment."

It is in a big old house which has been sympathetically divided into smaller properties and so it has some real character. The biggest pro’s are the location - both close enough to the centre of Lyme to easily come back to in the day but not near the crowds. The views are beautiful. The car parking space invaluable. Beds are comfortable and the shower has good water pressure. The washer dryer came in useful too. We liked how you enter into the hallway but the rest of the space is upstairs so we could easily leave hiking boots etc in the hallway out of the way. Also although it is unsuitable for young children due to the stairs being next to the double bedroom if your children are a little older it would suit a family well as the bedrooms and living space are quite spread out so everyone has their own space. There is a Tesco and Coop in very easy walking distance and a lovely walk through gardens to the Cobb and sandy beach. We happened to meet the neighbours upstairs and they couldn’t have been nicer. Kitchen is clean and well equipped (not just standard IKEA issue items!). No dishwasher but this wasn’t a problem for us. I liked the photos printed on canvas and hung on the wall - are these taken by the owners? Just a few small point I think would improve people’s stay. We didn’t use the small garden but I do feel it could do will a little love/attention. Also on our last day we were rushing out early to go on a fossil hunt and putting out the rubbish the biodegradable bin bag split down the seam! The bag hardly had anything in but it was unpleasant having to clear it up in a hurry. We are strong believers in eco friendly options but in this case it might be worth revisiting. A hook next to the shower to hang towel on would be nice. Overall a pleasant comfortable stay for our family. We loved Lyme and I’m sure we will be back again.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback, and we are delighted your family enjoyed staying in our flat. Yes, the canvas prints on the walls are photos of various holidays taken elsewhere! Sorry to hear of the bin bag incident, and thank you for the suggestion of a hook to hang a towel near the shower. We had thought of it but not done it, so your nudge means it is done! We trust you will return to Lyme. Liz & Stephen Property Owner

  • "We loved our week at Seascapes."

Sitting in the bay window with such a gorgeous view over the beach was idyllic, especially in the autumnal sun. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well-stocked and it was a really short walk into Lyme’s shops and restaurants. Highly recommended. We’d definitely book again.

We are delighted you enjoyed the flat, and all it has to offer, and especially those views! We hope you can make a return trip. Property Owner

  • "We loved staying at Seascapes."

The views were outstanding and we had everything we needed for a really comfortable pleasant holiday. All the little touches in the property helped us to relax and enjoy our stay there. If we were being really picky, we could hear the person in the flat above walking around quite clearly later at night, but this didn’t really spoil our stay. We would recommend the accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in Lyme and will look forward to returning to Seascapes in the future. Thank you!

State the key safe is on the 'left side' of the cupboard.

Curtain issue don't see that this is the only time this has happened track way too flimsy for the weight of material suggest an update not the end of the world just a pain and no dishwasher our fault should have checked the details more closely again not a deal breaker but would have been nice to have we will make sure we read the small print in future

Curtains not a problem in the past providing draw-strings used as requested in signage beside window. Can we suggest not so much a matter of 'small print' as simply reading facilities before booking. Glad absence of dishwasher wasn't a deal-breaker and appreciate the feed-back. Property Owner
