Beautiful 4 star family run guesthouse ideally located for all that Bournemouth has to offer. Wood Lodge has a charm and character so rarely found in hotels these days. Because we are family run with just a few much valued staff we all truly care about the experience that our guests have here. Care and thought go in to every part of your stay from the comfortable bedrooms to the wide choice of superb breakfasts and excellent evening meals and all the little extras in between. The warm relaxed atmosphere and close attention to detail are what makes so many of our guests return again and again. Out of season our room prices on Laterooms do not include the cost of breakfast - so we can offer low prices for those who are just looking for a low price deal on a room but if you would like breakfast you can of course select it at the time of your booking (just £7.00 for a full breakfast - lots of different choices or just £5.00 for a Continental) or book it whilst you're here with us.We are located in East Cliff the more peaceful side of town but just a 15 minute very pleasant walk from central Bournemouth. Either walk down the gently sloping zig-zag to the beach and along the promenade or through town the top of which starts just 5 minutes from here. We have limited free off-road parking but if you would prefer to leave your car at home we are a only 3 minute taxi ride from Bournemouth central train and coach stations and plenty of local buses run from just around the corner. Numerous attractions including Poole the New Forest and the Purbecks are easily accesible via these transport links. We are open all year round including Christmas and New Year. Although it's especially perfect when the sun is shining here it's still very cosy for out of season breaks and there's still plenty to do and a break does you good at any time of year!
