Tucked away in small wooded valley 3 miles from the historic market town of Wimborne Hopewell is the ideal place to relax and use as a base to explore the many different aspects of this historic part of the South Coast. The house was individually designed and built by the owners in 1991 and offers the perfect blend of traditional and modern features. Set in 6 acres of meadow and woodland we have free range chickens , ducks and geese together with a breeding flock of rare breed portland sheep which will appeal to all those who remember the more traditional countryside of yesteryear. Whilst breakfasting in the conservatory on home made and local produce guests can take in the relaxed country atmosphere. Only 2 miles from the main A31 'Hopewell' is ideally situated for both business and pleasure breaks. With ample off road parking we offer a secure environment for all vehicles. We are 10 walk minutes away from the Barley Mow Inn , originally a drovers cottage , which offers good traditional food and drink. Wimborne Minster itself has a good selection of shops , restaurants and hostelries to suit all tastes. The area offers numerous idyllic villages , historic houses and gardens , museums and hands-on family attractions , quality shops and markets selling fine local crafts and produce.
